As a wedding photographer based in Gera, I — Juliane of July.K — specialize in capturing weddings as they truly feel: genuine, light and full of real moments. My focus is on emotional reportage and relaxed couple sessions that prioritize authenticity over posed stiffness. I strive to preserve the small joyful moments, the spontaneity and the atmosphere of your day so they become lasting memories. Why choose me? My photographic eye is paired with empathy: my background in social-pedagogical work helps me build trust quickly and put even camera-shy people at ease. The result are natural portraits and reportage images that reflect your personality and the mood of your celebration. I value a relaxed, joyful atmosphere — a bit of playfulness is as important as sensitivity to emotional moments. My approach: I favor documentary storytelling with selected, meaningful couple portraits. This yields both candid moments and striking portraits of the newlyweds. Engagement photos are offered as a complementary option so you feel comfortable in front of the camera and we can get to know each other. How we work together: After your inquiry we discuss timeline, expectations and special wishes — in person, by phone, or by message. On the wedding day I work unobtrusively and attentively to avoid disrupting the flow while not missing anything important. Afterwards you receive a preselection in a closed online gallery (14 days to choose), from which you pick your favorites. I carefully edit the chosen images and deliver them as full-resolution JPEG files. RAW files remain with the photographer as stated in our terms. I’m based in Gera but happy to travel across Germany.
