Hi — I’m Thomas from FAUST-photowork, a wedding photographer based in Kiel. I specialise in emotional, documentary-style wedding photography across Kiel, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. My goal is to capture the real moments: the small gestures, spontaneous laughter and quiet emotions that make each wedding unique. My style is calm, observant and creative. I prefer to work discreetly to document authentic moments, while also guiding you when stronger portrait images are wanted — for example during your couple session. With an eye for light and composition I merge candid reportage with thoughtfully composed portraits to give a complete visual story of your day. The process starts with a personal meeting — often over a coffee in my studio or via video call — where we discuss schedules, locations and your wishes. Many couples choose an engagement or pre-wedding shoot to get comfortable in front of the camera and to build trust before the wedding day. On the wedding day I remain unobtrusive, focusing on the emotional highlights and the small details. I photograph ceremonies, receptions, congratulations and the in-between moments; of course there is also time for couple portraits and family group photos. After the wedding I carefully select and edit the images and deliver them via a password-protected online gallery.
