Welcome — I’m Jana Rother, a wedding photographer based in Zittau. Photography became my profession out of a deep passion for capturing people and their stories. For weddings I focus on creating images that serve as a return ticket to moments otherwise lost: authentic emotions, fleeting glances and the atmosphere that made your day unique. As a wedding photographer in Zittau I combine unobtrusive documentary photography with gently guided couple sessions. This approach produces candid reportage-style images that tell the story of your celebration, together with elegant, relaxed portraits of you as a couple. My priority is to photograph honestly and respectfully so your pictures feel real and timeless. The process is personal and relaxed: we meet beforehand to talk through your plans and, if you wish, arrange an engagement shoot to get to know each other. On the wedding day I stay attentive but discreet, capturing moments as they unfold. During the couple session I offer light direction to help you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. My background in newborn, maternity and family photography sharpens my sensitivity for small gestures and emotional details — qualities that enrich my wedding work and result in intimate, heartfelt photographs.
