As a wedding photographer based in Kamenz, I (Henriette) love accompanying couples through one of the most important days of their lives. Photography has been my profession since 2000, and I approach weddings with a calm, attentive reportage style: prioritising genuine moments, small gestures and real emotion over staged poses. My aim is to create images that bring back the feeling of the day for decades to come. My working style blends natural documentary with thoughtful couple portraits. I strive to make couples and guests feel comfortable so they can enjoy the day — I offer gentle guidance during the couple shoot to create timeless, authentic photographs without stiffness. The result: images that are personal, warm and honest. For extended coverage I regularly collaborate with my second photographer, Matthias. Together we share a unified visual language and can capture parallel moments at different locations — a big advantage for longer weddings or when events happen simultaneously. This allows us to tell a fuller, more nuanced story of your day. The process starts with a conversation where we get to know each other and align on the day’s flow and photographic priorities. On the wedding day I stay observant yet unobtrusive, focusing on light, detail and those spontaneous interactions that make each celebration unique. Afterwards we select your favourite images together and I complete them with careful retouching. My goal is to deliver photographs that become treasured keepsakes and enrich your home.
