As a wedding photographer based in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, my goal is to document your day in a way that lets you relive the emotions long after the celebration ends. At Xanthography I focus on documentary-style wedding reportage — capturing candid moments from within the day while creating creative portraits that reflect who you are. My visual language leans toward warm, natural colors, earthy tones and the soft glow of the golden hour. Why choose me? Beyond technical expertise (I work with Sony Alpha 7IV & 7 III and favorite lenses like the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 and Sony 90mm f/2.8), I bring empathy and an ability to improvise. My relaxed, friendly approach helps even camera-shy couples feel at ease. Building a personal connection with my couples is central: we get to know each other beforehand to align expectations and craft a plan that fits your day. How I work: I mostly stay unobtrusive to capture reportage moments, stepping in when creative couple portraits are needed. I keep couple sessions concise so you don’t miss time with your guests, while still creating powerful, genuine images. I thrive on problem-solving — whether the weather changes or little surprises happen during the celebration. Engagement / getting-to-know shoots: A relaxed engagement shoot is a great way to practice in front of the camera, receive images for invitations and test our chemistry before the wedding day. Travel & destination weddings: I travel for weddings across Germany and worldwide. When permitted by the venue, I also use a drone to capture unique aerial perspectives.
