NOM Fotografie is primarily a family-focused photography practice: since 2012 our passion has been photographing children, newborns and families. Working daily with families has taught us a patient, empathetic approach—especially important when photographing babies and young children. That sensitivity is the foundation for images that feel honest, warm and timeless. In our daylight studio in Vallendar and on location we emphasize natural gestures, small details and spontaneous moments so you truly recognise yourselves in the pictures. Why clients choose us: We bring empathy and experience, particularly to newborn sessions where calm, warmth and time for feeds and cuddles matter. As parents ourselves, we know how quickly moments pass—so we prioritise authentic emotion over forced poses. Our visual style is natural, gently toned and focused on closeness, laughter and the fleeting instants that become lifelong memories. What makes our approach special: We combine the care of a children and family photographer with a strong eye for composition and light. We primarily use natural light in the studio; outdoors we select locations that suit your family—parks, fields or your home. Personal props, favourite toys and considered outfits are welcome because they tell your story. Weddings as a complementary offering: While children and families are our main focus, we occasionally offer wedding photography, engagement and couple sessions. Since 2019 we have accompanied couples with a discreet, reportage‑inspired style—capturing emotions and the day’s flow without intrusion. On request we can work as a team (photographer + videographer) to create both photo and film memories. A personal pre‑meeting is important to ensure style and chemistry align—this is how authentic wedding images happen. How we work with you: Before every session we take time to talk—by phone, email or in person—to plan location, mood and your preferences, offer outfit suggestions and create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere during the shoot so everyone can be themselves.
