I’m Malte Reiter — a wedding photographer based in Wuppertal, specializing in natural, emotional wedding reportages across NRW. I focus on couples who want authentic memories rather than staged images: candid looks, small details and the atmosphere of the day. From my early days photographing people I have developed a sensitivity for storytelling and have since accompanied hundreds of weddings. My goal is simple: create photographs that bring you back to the moment years later. I work documentary-style with an eye for light, composition and subtle moments. When desired, we take calm, relaxed couple photos without pressure so you can enjoy the day. I combine unobtrusive observation with careful attention to detail to produce images that look both honest and polished. The process is personal and transparent. We meet for a pre-wedding consultation in my studio — a converted Matthäus church with a cozy lounge — where I show sample images on a 4K screen, discuss timing and locations, and give practical tips. On the wedding day I use professional equipment and a robust backup workflow to keep your images safe. Sustainability matters to me, so I primarily photograph in Wuppertal and across NRW. You’ll receive your finished images in a password-protected online gallery and as high-resolution files — optionally on a wooden USB stick presented in a sustainable wooden box. Privacy and publishing rights are respected: I only share images with your consent. I also offer optional 360° captures for playful social-media clips that guests love.
