As a wedding photographer based in Vlotho, I’m Kathi — KARTI Fotografie & Film — and my focus is on telling your wedding day as an honest, unobtrusive reportage. My work thrives on real moments: quiet glances, nervous laughter, wild dances and all the little gestures that make your day uniquely yours. I shoot discreetly because the most beautiful images appear when you can be free and unselfconscious. You tell your story, I listen — then I make it last. My approach combines documentary sensitivity with gentle composition: I look for authenticity rather than staged poses. For couple sessions I prioritize ease — short walks, natural interactions and subtle guidance are usually all that’s needed to create timeless portraits. We’ll meet beforehand so we understand each other; that trust is the foundation for relaxed, honest images. Wedding reportage is my core specialty: I accompany you through preparations, the ceremony, the intimate in-between moments and into the first celebrations — always with the aim of producing a cohesive, emotional visual story. As an option I offer wedding films — short, atmospheric clips that complement the still images with moving memories. Engagement sessions are available as well and are a perfect way to get to know each other before the big day and to create images for invitations or keepsakes. I work regionally (Vlotho/Bad Oeynhausen), nationwide and internationally, always with the same commitment: to preserve stories of love, friendship and life in an honest and timeless way.
