Based in Schmallenberg, I specialise as a wedding photographer in creating honest, emotional wedding reportages. My approach is documentary-led: I stay unobtrusive, observe sensitively and step in for calm, natural couple shoots when it feels right. The aim is always the same—images that tell your unique story in a timeless way. My background as a trained caregiving professional and experience as a mother give me a particular sensitivity for people and situations on important days. This empathy allows me to create a relaxed atmosphere—during the getting ready, the ceremony and the celebration—so authentic moments can unfold naturally. I prefer to work without flash, using fast lenses to capture atmosphere and emotion without disturbing the flow of the day. We start with a personal planning talk where we discuss your wishes, the schedule and any special ideas for the couple or engagement shoot. On the wedding day I work discreetly but attentively, capturing small gestures, big emotions and the details that matter. After the wedding you’ll receive your edited images in a private online gallery that makes sharing with family and friends easy. I am local to Schmallenberg and the Hochsauerlandkreis but am happy to travel across NRW and beyond. If you wish, I collaborate with an experienced videographer to offer a complementary wedding film.
