How I work: I value getting to know couples before the wedding. We’ll have a conversation about your plans and, if you like, do an engagement or getting-to-know shoot so you feel comfortable in front of the camera. On the day I work observantly and respectfully, with a focus on light, composition and emotion. My style is documentary, warm and close. I favor natural light and moments that tell a story. After the wedding I carefully select and gently edit the images to keep the day’s mood intact. Located in Rees at the Lower Rhine, I photograph intimate family moments as well as full wedding days.
