I am Martin Gerdau from GerdauGrafie — a wedding photographer based in Leichlingen. My passion is wedding photography: I focus on emotional, unobtrusive reportage and tasteful couple sessions that faithfully reflect the atmosphere of your day. In a pre‑shoot consultation we get to know one another and plan the day so I can work discreetly and capture the spontaneous moments, gestures and looks that make each wedding unique. During the couple session I prioritise relaxed guidance and natural posing to produce intimate photos without stiffness. I use mirrorless Sony system cameras and carefully process RAW files in Adobe Lightroom. My editing aims for a natural, timeless look; I perform light retouching on request but avoid heavy beauty edits to preserve authenticity. Working as a part‑time (Nebenberuf) photographer, I bring commitment and attention to every assignment. I can cover a full wedding report — from preparations and ceremony to the emotional highlights of the celebration. I also offer engagement (pre‑wedding) shoots which are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and to prepare for the couple session on the wedding day. Why choose GerdauGrafie?
