Marcus Matzner (Marcus fotografiert) is a wedding photographer with a clear focus: preserving your wedding day in genuine, unstaged images. I work from the perspective of a guest—approachable and unobtrusive—and love to capture the small details and big emotions that make your day unique. Real. Unobtrusive. Full of feeling. My wedding photography combines documentary wedding reportage with stylish couple portraits. For me, the story always comes first: laughter, tears of joy, the atmosphere on the dance floor and the thoughtfully arranged details. Even for classic couple shots, I prefer a short but intense session—often 20 minutes are enough to create natural, emotional images without keeping you away from the celebration for long. How I work: the process is personal and straightforward. After you get in touch, I’ll respond promptly to arrange a meeting—face to face, by phone or via video call. Together we’ll find the right style of coverage for your day. On the wedding day I blend discreetly into your celebration, document the event as a reportage and always keep an eye out for those special moments. After the wedding I edit your images with care so you receive an authentic, cohesive visual memory. Although I’m rooted in Hilden, NRW, I travel throughout Germany—from Wolfsburg to the North Sea—to accompany couples on their weddings. I intentionally accept only a limited number of weddings each year so every couple receives my full attention.
