Based in Halle, Fotostudio ShootingStar focuses on wedding photography that tells the true story of your day. I, Gerrit Tharann, combine a documentary approach with guided couple sessions to create images that are both spontaneous and beautifully composed. My goal is to deliver photographs that bring back the atmosphere, emotions, and little details of your wedding. I work across Germany and also travel to Switzerland and Europe for weddings. My style and process: I shoot primarily in a reportage style, staying attentive to candid moments, emotional highlights and atmospheric details. For couple portraits I create a relaxed environment with simple guidance so your natural connection comes through. All selected images receive careful, high-end editing to ensure consistent color, tone and print-ready quality. How we work together: We start with a conversation about your schedule, priorities and any special requests. On the wedding day I strive to be unobtrusive yet present, documenting events as they unfold while creating a few directed moments for striking portraits. Many couples add engagement sessions as a relaxed way to prepare for the wedding shoot. What you receive: Final images are delivered digitally, and weddings are often packaged with a keepsake box including a photo book and a USB stick containing the pictures.
