Hello Bride, hello Groom — I'm Paul from bildwerkeins, a wedding photographer based in Essen specialized in wedding reportage and couple portraits. Over the years I have photographed more than 300 weddings, learning to balance unobtrusive documentary coverage with carefully composed portraits so your photos reflect the true character of your day. My approach is personal and relaxed. I always start with a consultation in the studio to talk through your plans, preferences and the flow of the day. Chemistry matters — you'll be spending an important part of your wedding with me, so it's essential that you feel comfortable. Whether it's a civil ceremony, a church wedding or a full day from getting‑ready to the first dance, I work quietly and attentively to capture spontaneous moments and create intimate couple portraits. Practically, I combine reportage images with classic and creative portraits. You receive your photos curated and edited in color, retro variants and black & white; professional and tasteful retouching is included. After the wedding we view the images together in the studio — a moment many couples treasure — and then I deliver your pictures on a USB stick presented in a thoughtful box. I’m based in Essen and active across the Ruhr area, but I travel throughout Germany and abroad — from local celebrations to destination weddings in places like Mallorca.
