Hi, I'm Jan — a portrait photographer based in Beckum. My main focus is portrait work: capturing real people, quiet moments and natural expressions. Since 2021 I’ve turned my passion into a profession and developed a calm, conversational approach that helps even the shyest clients feel at ease. My aim is to create images that reflect who you truly are — personal, authentic and without forced posing. Although portraiture is my core specialty, I also photograph weddings on occasion. Because portraits are my primary focus, I bring to couple shoots and wedding reportages exactly what many couples value most: a steady hand, an eye for decisive moments, and the ability to present you naturally. I accompany ceremonies and couple sessions with the intent to produce honest wedding photos — unobtrusive and documentary where appropriate, and thoughtfully composed when you want styled portraits. My style is understated, emotional and down-to-earth. Preparation always starts with a personal conversation: we’ll discuss your wishes for the couple shoot, engagement photos or the wedding reportage, plan the schedule and highlight the moments that matter to you. On the day I work flexibly and calmly so you can relax — that’s what leads to natural images. I use modern camera equipment for high-quality results and can, if desired, add aerial perspectives with my drone. If printed keepsakes are important to you, I also offer high-quality photo prints of your favorite images.
