I'm Julia Boldt — a wedding photographer based in Rostock who values authenticity and quiet emotion. Since 2017 I have accompanied couples on their wedding days, preferring natural light, meaningful moments and locations that add character: the Baltic Sea coast, leafy parks and the botanical gardens around Rostock. My focus is on wedding reportage and couple sessions. Instead of overly staged poses I work unobtrusively to document what actually happens: glances, small gestures and the atmosphere of your celebration. For couple portraits I give gentle guidance and easy prompts so you feel comfortable in front of the camera — that relaxed mood shows in the photos and creates images that feel honest and timeless. Preparation is part of my approach: we talk through your wishes and choose locations that suit your story — whether a beach in Warnemünde, a green meadow or a garden setting. On the day I stay attentive and calm, capturing ceremony highlights, candid moments and the details that make your wedding unique. After the wedding I carefully edit your images with a focus on natural colours and skin tones. You’ll receive your photos via a private online gallery; I also offer little on-the-spot Polaroid keepsakes and can help with professional printing if you wish.
