I'm Jan Will — a wedding photographer based in Gießen who loves capturing weddings with a natural, storytelling approach. Since 2009 I have been photographing couples and focusing on wedding reportage and intimate couple shoots. My aim is to preserve genuine emotions and the atmosphere of your day in timeless, expressive images. My style combines documentary awareness for candid moments with calm, creative portraits of the couple. I remain unobtrusive in the background but am always present when moments matter — from getting ready and the ceremony to family interactions and the celebration. This approach creates wedding stories that feel authentic while also delivering composed, intimate portraits. Personal contact matters: we meet in my cozy studio in Gießen or talk by phone/video beforehand so your wishes and the schedule are clear. During the shoot I create a relaxed environment where couples can be themselves and natural poses develop. You receive your photos in a password‑protected online gallery; each selected image is carefully edited in color and black & white to ensure lasting quality. I photograph weddings around Gießen and in nearby regions like Frankfurt and Stuttgart, and I am available for national and international assignments. In addition to full reportage I offer engagement sessions to help you get comfortable in front of the camera and to create special images before the wedding day. Why choose me?
