Photo & Design Studio Klam is primarily a portrait and business photography studio — the core competence lies in creating compelling application photos, professional business portraits and individualized portraits that convey personality and credibility. Over more than 30 years in the Bergmannkiez, Jörg F. Klam has developed a refined sense for composition, light control and the confident staging of people for professional and private presentation. Because strong portrait skills are the foundation of successful couple and event photography, the studio also photographs weddings and engagements on occasion. The portrait- and business-driven approach is applied to bridal couple sessions and concise reportage: calm, honest imagery, sensitive lighting (including the studio’s characteristic Luna-style for dramatic moments) and a discreet presence on your day. The objective is a visual language that shows the couple — not just the event. The working method is consultative and personal: before the shoot I clarify the desired look and how the images will be used (website, invitations, prints). During the day I work unobtrusively and attentively, with an eye for spontaneous, authentic moments. Engagement sessions give couples a chance to gain confidence in front of the camera and make the later couple shoot more relaxed. Note: wedding photography is a complementary service at Photo & Design Studio Klam — not the main focus.
