As a wedding photographer based in Gauting, I – Roman Schweda – bring over 15 years of experience, a degree in photo design and a genuine passion for people and storytelling. My approach starts with getting to know you: What moments matter most? Where do you feel comfortable? From that conversation I develop a personal visual style that reflects your day as you experienced it. I specialise in emotional, documentary-style wedding reportage: capturing candid moments, spontaneous laughter and quiet glances. At the same time I create calm, confident settings for couple portraits with natural light and clear composition. The result is a balanced collection of atmospheric reportage images and timeless portraits that preserve the spirit of your wedding. I work both on location and in my Gauting studio, which allows flexibility to adapt to weather, venues and schedules. A personal pre-shoot meeting helps us align on locations and the visual direction, building trust and ensuring a relaxed day. During the wedding I aim for an unobtrusive presence—attentive but never intrusive. In addition to wedding reportage I offer engagement shoots, which are a great way to prepare and get comfortable in front of the camera. I also deliver a tailored post-processing style to give your images a coherent, emotional look. Being local to the Starnberg area, I know many beautiful venues around Gauting and have practical experience across different settings. As an occasional add-on, and where permitted, I can include aerial drone shots to complement the reportage.
